The year is going to be done up right...

With a new year comes new plans, and 2009 is going to be the year that plans will be made and pursued as much as possible. Grand plans are being hatched for birthdays, holidays, and vacations/breaks. I plan on doing my birthday this year really nice, something big and memorable, something like a trip to Vegas. A trip like that is going to be remembered for a long time and will definitely live in infamy forever. It will mark my 25th birthday as a milestone, a step towards being the man that I will become.

Unfortunately, not all the people I would love to spend my 25th birthday with will be of age come that time; many of them are still under the legal drinking/gambling age in the good ol' US of A. The decision then comes down to this: am I willing to wait until the following year in order for my friends to catch up? Or, should I just go through with my plans? After all, I am 25 only once.

However, if I do wait, we can definitely invade another city such as New York. How awesome would that be to be able to visit the Museum of Natural History or the Museum of Modern Art. To take in a broadway show in New York City would be a thrill and a half. The sights, the sounds, the people. I would love to spend a few days just visiting places of historical importance in New York.

But, as lovely and cultured as that would be, partying it up in Vegas would be so monumental, so epic that books have to be written about the adventures that will take place there. And, I must decided soon because those of us that want to go need to book those days and start looking for tickets and hotel rooms and events to attend. I don't know, I just don't know...
