So it's a brand new year; a brand new lease on life; another 365 days to make mistakes, another 365 days to learn, another 365 days to live and to love. It is another chapter in the lives of everyone I know, ready to be written and read aloud along the way. My cousin, sister, friend, and I rang in the new year in the best way we've ever done it: we went to The Fox and The Fiddle bar in downtown Toronto. When we first arrived there the place was almost full but not much was happening. We grabbed a few drinks, got ourselves a table and waited for the year to end. The close it got to the end, the more people began filling in the empty spots in the bar. Once the new year came, everyone was off their seats, hugging and dancing, just enjoying the atmosphere and each others company. It was a wonderful experience.
We met some really nice and random strangers. It was New Year's Eve after all. We drank and we were merry and everyone was having a good time. There were a few cute girls in the place but, as per ushe, I didn't have the balls to approach them, even in the state that I had myself in. It might've been awesome to be able to go up to any of those girls, talk to them, dance with them, and maybe exchange numbers, but nope, was way too chicken to try. Still, the experience was fun.
So, it's a brand new year, and we have things that we should definitely try before we run out of time. This year is that year to do these things. We will no longer wait for life to come to us; no longer will we wait for opportunities to show face. No, we will pursue with all we have; we will push and push until we can't push any longer; we will face the world with hope and renewed vigour. This year will be the year...Just you all and wait...
